Audi A2

Audi A2 was a premium supermini car produced between 1999 and 2005. The model is known for its high fuel efficiency. The most economic model, the "3L" (1.2 TDI) was claimed to achieve a 3L/100 km consumption. The car is built with an aluminium frame, allowing an extreme low weight (considering its size and safety). The exterior was shaped to achive a very low air drag. The car's economy is comparable to hybrid economy cars such as Honda Insight.

The market's reception was warm, the sales did not reach Audi's original plans.
